The Golden Sands offers the most unique and exclusive wedding venue in all of Ocean City. We do not offer cookie cutter wedding packages the restricts you to everything in the package. No. We offer two unique features that allow you complete flexibility to fill in everything else. The first unique offering is a private beach area. Many venues offer a beach wedding allowing you to get married on the beach intermingled with everyone else visiting the beach that day. You end up with some wedding photos that include beach goers in the background of your all important wedding photos. At a Golden Sands wedding, you and your wedding party are the only people permitted on the private beach assuring that you can have the memory photos you want of this event.
The second unique feature is our private banquet area located on the 22nd floor penthouse level of the building. This offers seating for up to 175 people and a 180 degree commanding view of the beach and ocean from the all glass wall on the East side of the banquet area. When showing the property to a vacationer, one Realtor was heard to say "On a clear day, you can almost see Portugal". Beyond these two features that no one else has, the remainder of your wedding arrangements are completely up to you. Due to license regulations, the Golden Sands has to provide all alcohol served on the premises. You can choose to have either an open or cash bar. As to the DJ, flowers, food, photographer, or videographer, we will provide you with a list of individual and companies who have provided these services for past wedding. However, this is your wedding and so you can select whoever you want for these services. As for accommodations for the wedding party and invited guests, the Golden Sands has 360 condominium units with over 200 available for rental. Everything from a studio unit that sleeps 2 up to 3 bedroom, 3 bath units are available for rent.
